Call for Contributions – Transformation Journal Special Issue
Following the Society, Work and Politics Institute’s programme to mark the 10th anniversary of Fees Must Fall (FMF)/End Outsourcing (EO), under the theme Remembering Movements, we have been invited to develop a special issue by the journal Transformation. We are, therefore, calling for contributions of research essays and reflections on FMF/EO and related themes. Contributions can also take non-traditional academic formats (artworks, poetry, prose reflections etc.). To submit contributions, please indicate your interest by sending a short description of your work. Abstracts of 250-300 words can then be submitted by the 1 March 2026 to swop.wits@gmail.com.
Given that we would like the issue to published before the end of the year, contributors should aim to have a final draft of their submission by the 15th of June. To facilitate discussion between contributions we will also host a half day workshop at the end of April.
